SafeStorSM protects Unix, NetWare, Windows NT, 2000 and 2003 Server, Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, IBM AIX and IBM iSeries. Data restoration can occur for any of the supported operating systems regardless of the backup data’s originating server type.
Plug-Ins
SafeStorSM plug-ins provide enhanced application protection for customers using SQL, MS Exchange, Open File Manager (OFM) and Oracle databases.

Quick and Painless Installation
UbiStor can guide you through the installation over the phone, or provide on-site service to set up your backup and retention schedule. Either way, installation is typically less than a 30-minute process for each server. Backups can begin immediately or as configured in the schedule during the installation.
Fast, Efficient and Reliable
After your selected backup data is initially scanned, only changed blocks within files are compressed and transmitted to the vault. This method ensures backup speed and efficiency. The backup happens automatically utilizing your existing bandwidth during non-production hours.
Restoration
Whether you need to recover a file, email, directory or an entire system, the restoration can be done at any time from any location. Simply select the files or directories to be restored, the date and time of the backup, and the destination for the recovered files. Within minutes your data is available.
